Nearing the buildout of the McHenry Corporate Center, the developers tapped Gillespie Design Group to assist in the site planning of the major frontage of the corporate campus along Route 31, also serving as the southern entrance into the City of McHenry, Illinois.
That site now includes a Hampton Inn as well as this elegantly designed Dunnhills, a new 325 seat restaurant that blends the expectations of corporate tenants with those of McHenry residents seeking an upscale environment for special occassions. Gillespie Design Group subsequently renovated Dunnhills into Marzano's Wood Fired Italian Restaurant, complete with a wood-burning pizza oven. (Since, this building is serving a location of Bulldog Ale House.)
