Gillespie Design Group has worked on numerous projects over the years, including a 130,000 SF addition, at the 292,000 SF North American ZF Headquarters in Vernon Hills, Illinois.
Along with new manufacturing, warehousing, and office areas, the facility arrangement includes specialty areas designed exclusively to receive and service the 17.5 ton wind turbines, the ones located in wind farms visible from interstates. Yes, after so many rotations their transmissions need a checkup, too.
